Sustainable Energy Easthampton

On April 14, 2007, a citizen's movement was launched. At more than 1,400 Step It Up! events all around the country, thousands of Americans called on our leaders to act immediately to stop global warming. It’s time to gather again & call louder.
On Saturday, November 3, there will be a 2nd national Step It Up! event to urge our politicians to join us in taking on the greatest challenge of our time.
Join us for STEP IT UP EASTHAMPTON! We'll start at Maple Street School @ 2 pm with a short, gas-free, people-powered parade of bikers, joggers, strollers, etc. We’ll end at the Manhan Cafe for refreshments, entertainment & information. Come for the kid-friendly silk-screening (bring tee-shirts). Come see local filmmaker Ted White’s celebration of bike culture, RETURN OF THE SCORCHER. Come for cheap energy-efficient light bulbs. Come send postcards to our legislators. Come for the great coffee. Come for the comraderie & inspiration. COME HELP US ENCOURAGE LEADERSHIP TO ADDRESS GLOBAL WARMING NOW!
